Volume and contour, never a new shape.

Hyaluronic acid filler placed with restraint to restore what time has softened, cheeks, jawline, chin and lips, without changing who you look like.

How it works

Hyaluronic acid is a substance your skin already produces. As a filler, it binds water to add structure and volume exactly where placed, then gradually metabolises over months.

We map facial structure in consultation and place filler conservatively, reviewing results together before considering any further volume.

Dermal filler contouring, close detail

What to expect

The appointment includes numbing where needed, then the injection itself, typically thirty to forty-five minutes depending on the areas treated.

Mild swelling or bruising is possible for a few days. Full results settle in over roughly two weeks and commonly last six to eighteen months.

VEGNA treatment room

How the journey goes

Filler is one of the easiest treatments to overdo. This is how we keep it from going that way.

Before

Preparing for your appointment

Avoid blood-thinning medication, alcohol, fish oil and NSAIDs such as ibuprofen for a few days beforehand to reduce bruising risk. Come with a clean face. Let us know about cold sore history, as filler around the lips can occasionally trigger a flare-up needing pre-treatment.

Consultation

What we talk through

We look at your facial proportions in relation to each other, not just the one area you came in for, and agree on the smallest volume that achieves a balanced result. We are equally comfortable telling you a smaller amount, or no filler at all, is the right call.

Treatment day

What actually happens

Numbing cream or a dental block is applied where needed, then filler is placed with a needle or blunt cannula depending on the area. The appointment runs 30 to 45 minutes. We review the result together in the mirror before you leave.

Aftercare

The following days

Avoid touching, makeup and strenuous exercise for 24 hours, and avoid extreme heat or cold on the area for a few days. Mild swelling and possible bruising is normal and typically settles within a week. Final shape settles over roughly two weeks, which is when we schedule your review.

Common questions

What are dermal fillers made of?

VEGNA uses hyaluronic acid based fillers, a substance naturally present in skin, which binds water to restore volume and gradually breaks down over time.

Where can filler be used?

Common areas include cheeks, jawline, chin and lips, chosen in consultation based on your facial structure and goals.

How long do results last?

Depending on the area and product used, results are commonly reported to last between six and eighteen months.

Is there downtime?

Mild swelling or bruising at injection sites is possible for a few days. Most clients resume normal activities the same day.

Can filler be dissolved if I don't like it?

Yes, hyaluronic acid filler can be dissolved with an enzyme injection if a result needs correcting, which is one reason we favour this type of filler over permanent alternatives.

What should I avoid after treatment?

Avoid touching, makeup and strenuous exercise for 24 hours, and avoid extreme heat, cold or facial massage for about a week while it settles.
